Welcome to our Cool Kids for Christ Children’s Ministry! We are committed to reaching children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You will find this commitment in every aspect of our children’s ministry. From the creative décor of each classroom to the dedicated staff, you’ll find an excellence and integrity that reflects our desire to reach and teach children. We strongly believe that by presenting the Word of God to children in an exciting way and leading them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, they will see Jesus can use them and that they are important to Him now! I encourage you to make a commitment to your children and become involved in this awesome ministry to children.

When a month has 5 Sundays we will have Family Day on the 5th Sunday. Children 6 years and up will attend the service in the Sanctuary and sit as a family. We WILL have classes for Nursery – 5 years old.

We have something for everyone! Classes are available for children 6 weeks old – 5th grade. Follow the signs to Cool Kids for Christ. The Nursery is located between the North and South Foyers. All other classes are in the Cool Kids Wing. Your children are sure to have a great time as they learn. We know that love, over time, is what matters most. Our time with your children is precious and important and we make the most of it while they’re under our roof.
Wednesday Nights

Classes are available for all children through the 5th grade. Pre-schoolers enjoy lessons with “hands on” activities. Elementary boys and girls have opportunities to participate in ministry. We work on flag routines, dance, mime, choir, and various “pieces” to minister in the adult services.
First Time Guest

The first time you visit a new church environment can be intimidating. It’s our goal to help make your first visit as smooth as possible. Please plan to arrive 15 – 20 minutes early. This gives our team time to check your children in and show you their appropriate classrooms. We would love the extra time to get to know you and your children.

Check-In/Security

For your child/children’s safety we need you to please take a moment to check-in your children (infant – 5th grade) as soon as you arrive. The check-in station is located in the South Foyer. Once registered in the system, a name tag for your child is printed and a parent tag is given to you to pick up your child. After service you can pick up your child using the parent tag you kept. It is important that you hold onto the parent tag because children will not be released from their classroom until the tags are checked for a match.
Sick / Distraught Child Policy

If your child should become ill or distraught to the point that one of our trained Children’s Ministry workers cannot calm them we will put your child’s name on the screens in the main sanctuary. If your child’s name appears please go immediately to his/her classroom. Upon presenting your matching parent tag, you will be allowed to tend to the needs of your child.
